明道20日將出個人專輯《失戀美學》，他上月接受平面聯訪，透露最想和林志玲傳緋聞，昨公布封面照又提１次，究竟多哈她？他透過經紀人說：「她漂亮、謙虛、修養好，但一直沒合作過，如果有機會，真的敢追。」

唱片公司將他定位在「男性的失戀情歌代言人」，他自己最痛的失戀，是多年前《冒險王》時期和女友分手，開車前往電視台，一度想掉頭去挽回女友，連工作都不要了，但想到有很多工作人員在等他，仍乖乖去開工。

為了呈現「愛情擂台上受傷的男人」，化妝師為他打造「失戀受傷妝」，手裹繃帶、臉塗黑彩，還故意騙晚到的工作人員，說自己和企畫意見不合在現場互毆，把同事嚇了一跳。他連拍６小時，為了讓手臂肌肉維持「炸開」的線條感，不斷趁空檔拿鉛塊舉重。
