在野抵制選舉 情勢更激化

（法新社曼谷21日電） 泰國主要在野黨「民主黨」今天宣布，將抵制明年2月2日舉行的選舉。此時抗議民眾準備加緊示威，以期推翻現任政府。

民主黨主席艾比希（Abhisit Vejjajiva）表示，黨員表決結果是不參加明年選舉。這些從政黨員已辭去國會議員職務，準備加入曼谷數週來的示威活動。

艾比希在黨內會議後召開記者會說：「曾擔任國會議員的黨內領導幹部在會中決定，民主黨不會在2014年2月2日的大選中，推派候選人。」
